From 0 to 1000 DJs

Today we are almost 1,000 DJs.

No budget for ads. Almost everyone came here through another DJ, a shared setlist or a search.

Someone else's set is the best record shop there is

I started ryser.id because I'm a DJ myself and kept running into the same thing: I heard another DJ's set and wanted those records. Only nothing in it has a name. So I built something that finds out for me.

I still do this completely alone. No team, no investors and no budget for ads.

Unreleased IDs and edits often stay unknown. We show those as ID - ID, never a guess.

Measured on real DJ sets

These past weeks I mostly worked on the results: I measured and improved the recognition on 289 real DJ sets whose tracklist we know, and built Headliner and measured it on 285 sets. Headliner listens once more to everything that stays unknown, and checks every name against the record itself.

How we measure

Because I'm just a DJ myself too

My new release and my last set.

Want to help?

Share a setlist, make a video or post about ryser.id. That's worth more to me than an ad. And if you have a label, event, podcast or platform we could do something with together: I'm looking for partners.

What comes next

I'm working on a setbuilder. There is no date on it; you'll hear when it is there.

Thanks for being here.
