What can I analyze?
Paste a YouTube, SoundCloud or Mixcloud URL, or upload your own recording (MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC, OGG or OPUS, up to 500 MB). The whole set gets segmented and identified track by track.
Is it free to try?
Yes. Sign-up gives you 120 free credits (1 credit = 1 minute of audio), enough for a full set or two, no card required.
How long does an analysis take?
A 60-minute set typically takes 6 to 10 minutes. During busy moments your run queues; the page shows your position and an ETA, and you get an email the second it's done, so closing the tab is fine.
How many sets can I run at the same time?
Free runs one analysis at a time, Starter three, Pro and Studio effectively unlimited. Extra submissions simply queue and start automatically.
What do I get for each identified track?
Timestamp, artist, title, BPM, harmonic key (Camelot), cover art and streaming links, plus honest confidence info so you know how sure we are.
How accurate is it?
Recognition typically identifies 70 to 90% of a set with released music automatically. Heavy layering, hard edits and unreleased material are the hard cases; rescue passes and community IDs are there to close the gap.
How is this different from Shazam?
Shazam identifies one ~10-second sample. A DJ set is a continuous, beat-matched, often pitched mix; ryser.id segments the whole set at the transitions and identifies every section, then retries the misses with tempo-warp and denoise passes.
Will it find unreleased or white-label tracks?
Not by fingerprint; nothing can. Those tracks stay marked unknown honestly instead of being guessed, and community suggestions plus our own reference library (which learns from corrections) fill them in over time.
A track is wrong. How do I fix it?
Hover the row and click the pencil: search the database or type artist and title yourself. Corrections save instantly, teach our fingerprint library, and flow as suggestions to other analyses of the same set. Your fix helps everyone.
What is a deep scan?
A second, heavier recognition pass for stubborn unknowns: smaller windows, more providers and preview-verification, only on the segments that stayed unidentified. It costs 15 credits per segment and you choose per segment whether to run it.
Why does a track say "version uncertain"?
The track is identified, but which remix or edit is playing couldn't be confirmed. Edit the row to set the exact version; owner edits resolve it definitively.
What's a credit?
1 credit = 1 minute of analyzed audio. A 60-minute mix costs 60 credits. You start with 120 free credits on sign-up.
Do credits expire?
Free and pay-as-you-go credits never expire; they're yours until you use them. Starter, Pro and Studio credits are a monthly allowance that resets each cycle.
Credit packs or a subscription: which fits me?
Packs are one-time top-ups with no subscription; right if you analyze occasionally. Subscriptions fit regular DJs: monthly credits plus features like the setlist builder (Starter), royalty reports and unlimited batch (Pro), or API access (Studio).
Which payment methods can I use?
Payments run through Stripe: credit and debit cards, plus popular local methods like iDEAL depending on your country.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days of purchase: unused credit packs are refunded in full, the founder purchase likewise while its granted credits are unused, and new subscriptions can be withdrawn via the button on your account page. Mail [email protected] and it's sorted.
Can I get an invoice?
Every payment comes with a Stripe receipt, and the billing portal (Account → Manage billing) has your full invoice history.
How do I cancel?
Account → Manage billing → cancel. You keep access until the end of the paid period; no phone calls, no dark patterns.
What's the founder deal?
A one-time €149 for lifetime Pro features plus 300 credits every month, forever. There are 25 numbered seats, each with a gold founder badge and a spot on the founders wall.
Which export formats do you support?
Rekordbox XML (Starter and up), M3U8 for Serato, Traktor, VirtualDJ and most players, plus CSV and plain text on every plan. Every row carries timestamp, artist, title, BPM and Camelot key.
How do I get a setlist into Rekordbox?
Export the Rekordbox XML, then import it in Rekordbox as a playlist. Tracks, BPM and key come across; see the step-by-step guide on the export pages.
Can I turn a set into a Spotify or Apple Music playlist?
Yes: the TuneMyMusic export (Pro) copies your tracklist as text, and TuneMyMusic builds the playlist on Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube from it.
Is there an API?
Yes, on the Studio plan: submit sets, poll status and fetch results programmatically. Docs live at /developers.
Am I allowed to analyze someone else's set?
Analyze only what you're allowed to have analyzed: your own sets, sets the creators published on public platforms, or content you otherwise have rights to. Identification produces a tracklist (facts); playback always streams from the original platform, we never re-host audio.
What happens to my audio?
Audio from platform links is processed transiently and deleted right after analysis. Your own uploads are stored 7 days (or for as long as your Pro subscription runs). Short fragments go to recognition services solely for identification. Full details in the privacy policy.
Who can see my sets?
Every analysis is private by default. Only when you flip a set to public does it get a share page, appear in the community feed and become findable. You can flip it back any time.
How do I delete my data?
Account → delete account removes your runs, setlists, comments and credits immediately and permanently. For anything else (access, correction, export): [email protected], answered within 30 days.
What are community suggestions?
Listeners can suggest IDs for tracks recognition couldn't fingerprint, and corrections from other analyses of the same set flow in as suggestions too. You accept or reject; nothing changes without you.
Can I turn notifications off?
Yes, per category: Account → Preferences has switches for runs, social, suggestions, credits and product news, separately for in-app and email. Off means off at the source; nothing is stored or sent.
What do the badges next to names mean?
The lime diamond marks a paying member (any plan, we don't show which). The gold founder badge with a seat number marks one of the 25 founders.
Can I embed a setlist on my own site?
Yes: every public set has an embed variant, an iframe snippet is on the share page. It shows the tracklist with timestamps and links, in your page.
