Pricing FAQ

What does lifetime mean?

For as long as ryser.id runs the service, for your account; it cannot be transferred. You get the hours per month and the features of your plan as your receipt lists them. Seats are limited: 30 for Opener, 20 for Headliner and 10 for Studio. If the service ever stops or shrinks materially, you hear it 60 days ahead and choose between the smaller plan and a refund of the price spread over 36 months, for the months still to come. The terms spell it out.

For life or monthly: which fits me?

Paying once fits most DJs. Opener for life (€25) gives you 6 hours every month for as long as the service runs, which is enough for most DJs, with your uploads kept and your whole crate. Headliner for life (€50) brings 10 hours a month; Studio for life (€150) brings 20 hours, royalty reports and batch analysis of whole lists of links. Each has a fixed number of seats. Monthly fits if you would rather try a plan first: from €2.50 a month, cancel whenever you like.

I pay monthly. Can I switch to a plan for life?

Yes, and what you already paid by the month counts: switching to the same plan for life or a bigger one takes it off the price, down to half of that price. Your monthly subscription then stops at the end of the period you already paid for and is not billed again, and the minutes you have left that month stay.

Can I move up to a bigger plan for life later?

Yes, while the bigger plan has seats left: you pay only the difference in price, €25 from Opener to Headliner or €100 from Headliner to Studio. Your seat moves with you, and the extra hours are added to that month right away.

How do I cancel?

A monthly plan: Account, Manage billing, cancel. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for; no phone calls, no tricks. A plan for life is paid once, so there is nothing to cancel.

Does a set still finish when it is longer than my minutes?

Yes. A set longer than the minutes you have left is still identified to the end. The setlist shows everything up to where your minutes ran out, and the rest is found and waits locked; unlock it with a plan, from €2.50 a month, or for that one set on its own. Minutes, plans and passes has the details.

Do I pay for minutes where nothing was found?

You only pay for what we find, counted over the whole set, the locked part included. When a set is done we add up the minutes of the tracks we found; if that is less than you paid for, the difference comes back to you automatically. On the free plan that is up to 120 minutes a month, on a plan up to its hours for the month.

How do minutes work?

A set uses its length in minutes, a 60-minute mix 60, and if we find less than that over the whole set, the difference comes back when it is done. Every account gets 120 free minutes on the first of the month, and a plan adds hours every month: 6 with Opener, 10 with Headliner, 20 with Studio. A run that fails costs nothing. Older mails and receipts may still say credits: one credit is one minute.

Do minutes expire?

Free minutes refill to 120 on the first of the month and do not stack. A plan's hours are a monthly allowance that resets each month, whether you pay monthly or paid once for life. Minutes bought as a pack never expire: 3 hours €2.99, 10 hours €7.99 or 25 hours €19.99, paid once, about €1.00 to €0.80 an hour, where Opener by the month is about €0.42 an hour. A set uses your monthly minutes first.

What happens when my minutes run out?

A set longer than the minutes you have left still runs to the end: your minutes cover its opening, and the rest is found and waits locked on the setlist. Unlock it with a plan, from €2.50 a month, or pay for that set on its own; nothing more is charged until you choose. With no minutes left at all, a pass shows before the set starts, and it says on which day your free minutes come back.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Sign up and you get 120 free minutes every month, with no card required.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 14 days of purchase, as long as you have not used any of its minutes. A new subscription has a withdraw button on your account page; for a plan paid once or a pack, mail [email protected] and it is sorted.

Which export formats do you support?

M3U8 for Serato, Traktor, VirtualDJ and most players, CSV and plain text, from Opener (€2.50 a month). The rekordbox XML export is not available right now. The CSV and the text carry the time, artist, title, BPM and Camelot key of every row. Exporting a DJ setlist.

Can I pay yearly?

Yes. You pay 10 months and get 12: Opener €25, Headliner €50, Studio €100 a year. It renews yearly and you can cancel any time. The first month of Headliner for €2.50 is for the monthly plan only.
